A small mod that tunes both the Chinese and Pipe 40mm Grenade Launchers’ accuracy to be more in line with the real life Chinese QLZ-87/QLU-11 grenade launchers (direct aim against window sized target at 600 meters).
This mod does two simple things:
Change the gravity variable on the 40mm frag grenade ammo from 2 to 0.25 in order to make the grenade trajectory way flatter. If the player is using the short scope on the launchers, the detonation point will be guaranteed to be within the inner circle of the scope crosshair regardless of max range.
Update the Chinese Grenade Launcher’s recoil to be more inline with rest of the vanilla grenade launcher weapons. The original Chinese Grenade Launcher’s recoil is somehow 6x less than other grenade launchers since it is copying the same recoil values as pipe guns.
This mod should be compatible with any other mods that does not directly modify the Chinese Grenade Launcher or the 40mm frag ammo files.
