This mod REQUIRES Far Harbor, Automatron, Nuka World, Burst-Fire Framework - ECO, E-Series Industrial Plasma Welder, and RL Recruitment Framework in order to function.
Adds armor, equipment, and the like to allow you to make battle droids for your settlements (Or at least decorate yourself/settlers into lookalikes)
ALLIANCE Industries, Pre-war tool and robotics company. A less well known competitor to H&H tools, yet with a downright suspicious amount of technology and resources. Shortly before the Great War they started releasing a series of “Worker Drones” a revolutionary type of robot that was able to perform most tasks a human worker could.
Made in partnership with CIT, these Worker Drones came in a variety of models and able to perform many tasks, ranging from construction, janitorial, hazmat, factory work, security and more. They even made deals with the Military, releasing a line of Soldier Drones armed with powerful lasers and micro rockets, and Area Denial Sentinel Turrets with built in experimental energy shield technology. Rumors persist about a few “Shady” variants made in secret, Infiltrators and Assassins capable of stealing documents, disposing of evidence and destroying detractors. Nothing but conspiracy and slander of course.
While sold as the ultimate worker, capable of handling jobs both too dangerous and mundane for the common man, they had a very mixed reception. Corporations loved how cheap, efficient, and free of complaints or standards they were, but the public feared the rapid loss of jobs from Robco’s similar efforts for mechanized workers, and these only fueled the fires, leading to many protests.

While originally planned as a fully implemented new “faction” worth of robotic enemies, ideally with custom voices, unique boss fights, and maybe even a new dungeon in the form of a “Attack of the Clones” style droid factory, I found that not only do I not entirely know how to implement most of that (LL’s are surprisingly uncooperative, and my attempts to make a good Battle Droid voice from text to speech kinda failed, not to mention how complex new voice types are) I found that I (in typical form) kept getting distracted by other projects, putting off working on it, getting overwhelmed by both how much more I wanted to add and my many many other projects. So after a few months of not working on it I decided to release it as is, partially in the hopes that someone else more competent might try elaborating upon many of those features, and also because most of this stuff is still rather neat and functional (I hope).
So yeah, a bit of a failure (This project and the weapon I made for it took better part of three months) but perhaps someday it’ll be continued, either by me or somebody else who knows how things like scripts and quests work.
