Update 1.1: Small update meant to reduce the effects of seeing clearer/lighter through smoke and certain light sources.
Overview:
Moribund World - Darkest Nights brings the darkest possible nights to this amazing weather and atmosphere overhaul. The original intention is not to disrupt the original Moribund World already established weathers and coloring, but to bring nights that are truly dark. This mod also brings Moribund World’s weathers to Far Harbor and Nuka World.
To consider:
Nights are truly dark, almost pitch black but the ground retain some light so it matches with the character glowlight.
Character glowlight has been reduced greatly, but not removed entirely (Not possible on console, sorry folks) however the rimlight is not as disruptive as vanilla FO4 and it almost blends in.
The Pipboy flashlight probably won’t be enough, I recommend using a flashlight/night vision goggles mod of your preference.
Changes:
Original Moribund World weathers remain unchanged, with exception of the nights for each one. Moribund is not the most varied weather mod, so I made some cloud variations during the night. There are clear sky nights, cloudy nights and foggy nights. Foggy nights are pitch black sky.
Sunsets
To give nights a little more protagonism, sunset now starts at around 4PM and finishes by 8PM, 8PM onwards is night darkness until 3AM when the sunrise starts.
Interiors
Interiors are untouched, as it is not the scope of my patch. If you use vanilla interiors you will get a weird lighting imbalance between exterior and interiors. I recommend using an interior overhaul such as Chaotic_Pranxter’s Deadlights - Interiors or St0vie’s Interior Overhaul. You can also use Phylight and Phydark if you prefer.
