Radio station featuring noise and electronic music of roesingApe as well as The Wild Gunmen. It goes from horrible noise to ambient exploration to catchy dark tunes, with a back story that it’s made by Vault ### audio torture experiments. 63 audio tracks all original much of it recorded live and on tape giving it a cheap lore-friendly compression.
Based on a radio show that aired on WAIF 88.3 Cincinnati from around 1985 - 2010 that featured noise and experimental music. It features 63 original tracks recorded between 1996 and 2006 by the improv noise group The Wild Gunmen and performance artist roesingApe. The setting is that all the tracks have been created through torturous audio and drug experiments on the residents of Vault (redacted).
Also includes a snappy prewar clean radio object to build in settlements under decorations - misc. Credit to Radio Re-Done 4K for the base NIF that I manhandled into submission and customization. Credit to Jetfuel Radio - The Refueled Patch for the invisible NPC trick to speak the radio tracks and avoid long pause between them. Never change Bethesda, holy crap, is all I gotta say about that.
This version is drop-in. The station appears in your pip-boy and the workshop radio object appears under decorations: miscellaneous. If you want it immersive, try the other version.
This version final pre-release. Just testing for the next week until I call it Version 1. This is my first mod, and I would appreciate feedback on it.
Yes I know a lot of the “music” is “horrible”. That’s intentional. Some of it isn’t. Should be compatible with anything that doesn’t use radio frequency 88.31. Install with mod manager or extract into data folder. Safe mid playthrough install and uninstall.
If all goes well in a few months I’ll create an immersive (place the note to find) patch for Fallout London. But also if you wanna do that please go ahead just let me know.
