Business is good at The Memory Den. So Dr. Amari has decided to try to give back a little to the Goodneighborhood that’s brought her so many caps. After a thorough scrubbing of her own facility, she’s sprung for some improvements for the rest of the neighborhood. The streets have been cleaned up, some minor renovations have been made here and there, and she’s had some of the worn out furnishings replaced with newer versions. She’s fixed up the bathrooms in The Third Rail so they work again, and even leveled some of the terrain outside. She’d like to do more, like fixing the broken sidewalks, but she’s only one woman. That could take some time. And of course, while she can keep her own place clean and try to encourage others to do the same, there’s no stopping people from dropping their empty bottles and cans wherever they feel like it. So the clutter is still going to be there. But she tries.
Hi, I’m Bill. This is my first attempt at modding for others. Since I’m new to this, please bear with me if something isn’t working right with the mod. It works fine with my system - a laptop PC - but I’ll gladly try to do whatever I can to resolve any issues that might arise with other systems.
My ideas on the worldspace are that some characters don’t like all the rubbish and trash all over the place, and so they try to fix them up. And where there are robots, there’s often precision placement. So I try to make things around robot merchants be more “straightened up”, while letting the more human areas be a bit more disarrayed.
Specific changes:
Cleaned all wood floors & walls in The Memory Den; Cleared rubble from The Third Rail bathroom area; swapped out the old couches & chairs for new ones where I could; leveled the terrain, cleaned out all the trash and useless debrish - except, of course, for the bottles & cans left laying around by lazy individuals. Changed the street lights. More to come, eventually. Thanks for your time and have a great day!
Plans:
I have yet to get to The Hotel Rexford, but I definitely plan on getting there! If I can learn how to retexture things, I might try fixing up the sidewalks and streets a little. And I might change out the shack walls surrounding the town for something a bit more aesthetique, but still fitting.
