Steady Aim ranks 1 and 2 normally reduce aim cone of fire by 20/40%. I’ve swapped this instead to 3/6% per point of Strength. This means it will be 21/42% if you have only the 7 Strength requirement (nearly identical to the normal bonus), but it will continue growing if you have more Strength. In addition, VATS accuracy is improved by 1/2% per rank*. I’ve also allowed this to affect shotguns now. Normally it specifically does not.
Rank 3 normally increases damage by 5% when not aiming. I’ve instead made it 1% damage to guns from Strength (whether aiming or not). As with ranks 1 and 2, I’ve removed the “no shotguns” condition on this. Any gun means any gun.
I’ve halved the level requirements of ranks 2 and 3 from 28/49 to 14/24.
Now even if you don’t use melee weapons, Strength will still matter to you because it can improve your accuracy and damage.
- The VATS accuracy bonus is multiplicative to your existing chance, not additive. This still adds up to quite a bit more accuracy at higher Strength scores.
