Adds in a bolt action, magfed, closed cylinder revolver rifle.
OVERVIEW:
The initial weapon concept was inspired by a belt fed revolver but due to limitations in animations that wasn’t really feasible. We at Run Runners always strive to make mechanically illogical and iconically obscure firearms. Therefore instead of backing down we present to you the Cycling rifle, the amalgamation of many different mechanisms that somehow still operate in the harsh environment of the radioactive wasteland.
CONTENT:
The mod adds a single weapon which works as a tie in between the combat rifle and hunting rifle yet having the style of the classic revolver. Starts spawning in the world at level 12 The weapon comes with 48 (+ 3 unique) attachments:
- 8 Receivers
- 6 Barrels
- 6 Stocks
- 6 Magazines
- 13 Sights
- 9 Receivers
UNIQUES:
Blowtorch - When it was created in Saugus Ironworks, it’s sole intention was to patch holes with molten brass at point blank range. Nobody really figured it could melt bones too. Found in Saugus Ironworks, near the boss room on a table. It’s a shotgun version.
Rattler - Sporting a chain feeding mechanism and rapid fire, shooting this gun is like riding a bull, rough and bumpy. But once you know how to handle it properly, it can quickly disperse multiple targets. Found inside Libertalia.
Perpetual Machine - A weapon exhibiting a most peculiar electromagnetic field, this gun can rapidly change it’s kinetic rotation of every bullet it fires. Great if you want to end a group of bad guys with only one shot. Found in Virgil’s cave.
COMPATIBILITY:
This mod shouldn’t conflict with any other mod. It will however be affected by vanilla weapon retextures since it reuses textures from mostly the hunting rifle, 44 and combat rifle.
