FEATURES OVERVIEW

—Reliable landing on the pad, even if placed on top of (or inside) workshop built and other structures.
–Call in the Vertibird from a convenient console; No signal grenade is consumed during the process.
–You’ll always have a Vertibird on approach within at most 180 seconds after dispatch.
–Vertibirds will always turn to face the direction of the little white triangle on the pad before landing.
–VertiCall Landing Pads are completely unaffected by the Prydwen docking bug.
–Animated landing lights for maximum immersion, active whenever a recognized VFT Vertibird is travelling.
–Automatic boarding lights, engaged while the pad is occupied by any Vertibird.
–The Pilot NPC will never go AWOL, you’ll always find it in the pilot seat when the bird arrives.
–Ability to abort or redispatch an active VertiCall mission.
–Does not edit the Vanilla VFT quest and there are zero overrides, for maximum compatibility.

INSTRUCTIONS
————————-
–Visit an exterior settlement. Vertibirds don’t work in interiors, duh.
–Build at most one VertiCall Settlement Landing Pad, available from your SPECIAL Workshop build menu.
–Build at least one VertiCall Console, available from your SPECIAL Workshop build menu.
–Ensure the landing pad receives wireless/radiant power. Place a connector or pylon next to it, if required.
–Consoles auto-connect to and get power from the pad, they don’t need their own power source or any wires.
–Activate the VertiCall Console, wait for answer and follow the directions from the voice menu.
PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

–Vertibird Fast Travel (VFT) must be available in your game for you to use the VertiCall Console.
–If you have any other Vertibird pads built in your settlement, scrap them all before building this one.
–Do not use pads from other mods in a settlement with a VertiCall pad. It won’t work right and will cause issues.
–All Vertibirds can and will use a settlement’s VertiCall pad for landing at all times.
–Exception: With the Vertibird Signal Grenade, the Vertibird will still land at the smoke location to pick you up.
–You can build at most one VertiCall Settlement Landing Pad per settlement.
–If you somehow still end up with multiple pads, scrap those you don’t want and pickup/place the one you kept.
–You can build as many consoles per settlement as you want.
–It does not matter if you build the pad first, or a console.
–The VertiCall Console lets you request a VFT Vertibird to the pad.
–You can abort an active VertiCall mission from the Console or directly from the Vertibird.
–You can also redispatch a VertiCall mission already waiting at some other settlement to your current location.
–Air Fare is based on the cost of a Vertibird Signal Grenade (10 Caps Vanilla).
–Mods that change the Vertibird Signal Grenade’s Caps value will affect VertiCall Air Fare as well.
–If the BoS operates the VFT Vertibird, Paladins get 50% discount on the Air Fare. Sentinels travel for free.
–If the Minutemen operate the VFT Vertibird, the General rides for free.
–Railroad operated VFT Vertibird always collects full fare.
–The pad’s boarding lights have a coming-home function that is active during night hours (7:30pm to 7:30am).
–The coming-home function will keep boarding lights on after a Vertibird drops you off on the pad, until you either leave the pad or request another Vertibird.
–A VertiCall mission will time out after 1 hour game time, if you don’t board the Vertibird.
–Before the timeout, an alarm will sound. It means you have about 12 real time seconds left to still get on board.
–Due to the pad’s large size, Place Anywhere mod is highly recommended.
–If you have a mod that replaces vanilla VFT Vertbird textures, the VertiCall VFT Vertibird will use them.
–Pads require wireless (radiant) power to call in a Vertibird from the Console(s), and to operate the various pad lights.
–Any Vertibird can still land on an unpowered pad, but there will be no lights at all.
–Hangman’s Alley and Boston Airport have broken map markers in Vanilla and the Vertibird can’t properly land there. If you have UFO4P, it should include the fix. If it still doesn’t work, you can use this mod of mine to fix them map markers.mods.bethesda.net
–Flyable Personal Vertibird Version 1.6.3 and older require no additional support to be summoned to the pad.
–Flyable Personal Vertibird Version 1.6.7b has an additional patch to support being summoned to the pad.
WHAT DO THE CONSOLE LIGHTS MEAN?

–DISP (Green): A Vertibird has been dispatched to your pad.
–RDY (Green): The Vertibird has landed on the pad and is ready for you to board it.
–BSY (Red): The Vertibird has been dispatched to a settlement other than the one you’re in.
–PAD (Red): A Vertibird occupies the settlement landing pad.
–PWR (Green): The settlement landing pad receives wireless power.
–OPR (Green): Vertibird Fast Travel is available in your game.
–FLT (Green): A recognized VFT Vertbird is active. Landing lights will engage unless the pad is occupied.
—If PWR is green but OPR is not, it means you can’t use the VFT Vertibird and must complete Quests first :(
–If all the lights on the console are dark, there is no pad or the pad doesn’t have power.
–There is a bell in the console: It’ll produce a single DING sound as soon as the requested Vertibird is ready.
