This mod was originally created for the PS5 version, but I decided to upload it for XBox One as well since maybe XBox players would be interested too. I don't know if there's a better mod for XBox that does something like this. If there is feel free to just ignore this mod. If not, I hope you like the mod!
WHAT THIS MOD DOES
This mod makes enemies explode when you kill them with heavy explosives!
No changes were made to vanilla damage or stats. This mod is simply a visual FX mod.
HOW TO USE THE MOD
Increase the rank of your Demolition Expert perk to unlock bloody mess FX for your heavy explosives. The Bloody Mess Perk is NOT required.
(Note: Enemies will only explode when they are killed by an explosion, they will not explode if they survive an explosion.)

With rank 1 of Demolition Expert you will be able to blow enemies to smithereens with the following weapons:
[ * ] Missile Launcher + all upgrade variations
[ * ] Fat Man + all variations (Nuka Nuke Launcher requires the Kaboom! Nuka World Add-On mod)
[ * ] Creation Club Grenade Launchers
[ * ] Minutemen Artillery
[ * ] Homing Beacon
(Note: Only enemies in the inner radius of an explosion will explode)

Demolition Expert Rank 3

With rank 3 of Demolition Expert, explosions from the weapons listed above will now blow up all enemies within their entire blast radius. (This fits in well with explosives having a larger radius at this rank)

Demolition Expert Rank 4

With rank 4 of Demolition Expert you will now be able to blow enemies up with grenades or mines that you shoot in VATS. (This fits in well with the double damage mechanic of grenades/mines when you shoot them in VATS)
COMPATIBILITY
[ * ] For best results this mod should be at the bottom of your load order.
[ * ] This mod will conflict with mods that edit (((EXPLOSIONS or explosive damage))) for the Missile Launcher, Fat Man, CC Grenade launchers, minutemen artillery, homing beacon, and all the grenades and mines.
[ * ] This mod does not edit or change any perks and should be safe to use with simple perk mods.
[ * ] This mod does not touch the Bloody Mess perk and should be safe to use with bloody mess/ bloody mess disabling mods (Have not tested).
[ * ] This mod was created for the PS5 and Next-Gen update. (Not tested on PS4, but may still work)
[ * ] This mod was crafted with care and contains no dirty edits. I checked everything carefully in FO4edit.
KNOWN QUIRKS
(These are just some minor quirks of the mod. They probably won’t be fixed because it’s too difficult and time consuming with Sony’s modding limitations.)
[ * ] Exploding enemies won’t always have a skeleton. Skeletons should appear about 90-95% of the time, however, that rate seems to decrease the more enemies are exploding at the same time.
[ * ] Only humanoids have skeletons
[ * ] When shooting a grenade or mine in VATS, sometimes, even if you’re not successful (no double damage) enemies may still explode.
[ * ] Very rarely, an enemy may not explode even though they should.
[ * ] Not all NPCs are explodeable for some reason. Usually these are story related or special allied NPCs or settlers.
[ * ] Only neutral NPCs or enemies can explode. Allied NPCs or friends cannot explode unless they become hostile or neutral towards you.May be fixed in a future update for XBox users.
