Porter’s Notes: I downsized the textures to 512p.
Adds a classic plasma gun from Fallout 1/2. Some modifications are available.
As in Fallout 1/2, the gun uses small energy cells, so it is in fact just a small rework of the default laser gun with the same animations.
This does not replace the default plasma weapon, but simply adds new guns to LL.
I did not have enough time to test it in the game, so if you find bugs and other nonsense - write, I will try to fix it.
UPD 2.0:
At first, I didn’t want to make the weapon too powerful because it was not an imba in the original game. But people complained about the inability to use it in progress. Therefore, I have added several high-level modifications that should make it more useful in the later stages of the game.
There are 2 new barrels: “Stingray” with automatic type of fire and “Hammerhead” - long-range barrel with incendiary shells.
I also added 2 more unique trunks that can be found in the wasteland.
Next, I tried to fix the balance, craft errors and firing range. I think this should work better now. Oh yes, and the scissors now also work like a bayonet (surprisingly, I had not thought about this before).
If you are too lazy to look for unique weapons, the location of all the guns under the spoiler:
“Magic gun of friendship” is in the shopping cart at the checkout, in Super-Duper Mart.
“Dignity” is in a safe, in an “Ticker Tape Lounge”.
“Rookie” is in a safe, in an Overseer’s office, Vault 75.
“Old Boy” is in a floor safe, Jalbert Brothers Disposal.
UPD 1.5:
Removed a few more random changes affecting the vanilla game.
Reduced the range of fire muzzles.
Made the collimator glass almost transparent.
UPD 1.4:
Fixed a bug with infinite ammunition when using a magnetic coil.
Reduced glow and increased transparency of the collimator glass.
Increased the range of the default barrel.
Minor balance changes.
UPD 1.3:
When you try to change it on the workbench, it no longer crashes to old versions of games.
Fixed bug with duplicate options in the crafting menu.
Fixed muzzle flash anchor points.
Fixed default sight zoom.
