Unfortunately to get this to work on Xbox, you will need the Place Anywhere mod. You will then have to spawn a Cable Car on the ground, so it is essentially melded through the floor, then once it is placed. Select it again, place it above the conveyor belt and then press x to Utilize the Place Anywhere function. This was the only way I could get it to work on Xbox, though fortunately using this method, does at the very least make it usable on the Xbox.
This mod adds a working Cable Car to Fallout 4’s Workshop mode.
How to use:
To use the Workshop Cable Cars, simply build a loop of conveyor belts around your settlement and then spawn any number of cable cars upon the conveyor belts.
How to craft:
Craftable within the workshop mode’s FURNITURE > MISCELLANEOUS tab.
Note:
Due to the way Fallout 4’s physics objects sometimes interact with the player. Occasionally, specifically when said object moves beneath the player. It is possible for you to begin to fall through the Cable Car. To help mitigate this, it is recommended to keep the conveyor belt loop flat, essentially having no upwards/downwards Conveyor Belts.
