Works with or without DLC
In Fallout 4 all gasmasks are prewar and those easy to come by would have seen heavy usage in the aftermath. 200 years later, not many left and no filtering to speak of. This mod brings scarcity and promise to gasmasks. Finding and upgrading a gasmask has its rewards.
Gasmasks Fallout 4 base stats +15 Rad Resist (i.e. Junk filter, upgrades stack w/base) renamed/in tiers
Gasmask with goggles = Gasmask M1, Good/cheap design/Less rare
Gasmask = Gasmask M2, Better/quality design/Rare
Assault Gasmask, Best/Military Grade/More rare
All gasmasks upgradeable to Basic Filter (+15Rad, +5Poison)(stacked w/base +30R, +5p) (2 Cloth, 1 Activated carbon)
Charcoal/activated carbon added to game. Chemist 1 required for activated carbon, so Chemist 1 req. for Basic Filter
Each Gasmask has one upgrade beyond Basic filter (May not be easily achieved)
