This Creation Club content is rather odd as it gives you a late game weapon early on. It was quite a challenge coming up with a workaround to make this work. Please read the description carefully before deciding to use this.
I have replaced the leveled list injector with something a little better. The anti-material rifle will normally not show up in the game until around level 40-50 and only on specific NPCs and merchants. The free quest reward version of the gun is set to spawn with very basic loadout and a .308 receiver. So it should be balanced enough as an early game weapon. I have also edited the vanilla hunting rifle so that it no longer converts to a .50 and only has .308 cal receivers.
Chance for gun to spawn on Bosses, Coursers, BoS, Railroad, Gunner Snipers and in certain vendors (any that use LL_Vendor_Weapon_GunSpeciality).
The custom Leveled list injector is run from a new quest, so this should be very compatible with mods like Creation Club Delayed (recommended).
Default version is now flagged as an esl.
Instructions:
Load this patch after the Creation Club mod and Lunar Fallout Overhaul. This will likely only work on a new game. Though the weapon changes should still take effect on an existing save.
Anti-Material Weapon stats:
Base value: 150
Base damage: 120 (84 with the .308 receiver).
Max base damage: 180 with Gun Nut rank 5
First .50 cal receiver is craftable at Gun Nut rank 3 (one rank earlier than the hunting rifle). Damage is the same as the hunting rifle receivers balanced by Gun Nut rank unlocked, so the advantage of having a .50 rifle early is balanced out with reduced damage per shot using the weaker receiver.
Hunting Rifle Changes:
Advanced and Masterwork receivers are now .308 caliber and have appropriate damage modifiers. Since only the object mods were edited, there is little risk of conflict.
