Disappointed by that ‘salvaged’ assaultron head?
It’s time to get their head in your hands.
Found upon the workbench of the highly skilled mechanist, this weapon is the result of several days tweaking around in the creation kit, to replicate as close as possible and with some extra fun, the full destructive power of this fearsome laser.
Unlike the salvaged assaultron head, this version fires the same steady beam that the assaultron uses.
I am guessing this laser deals between 200-300+ damage over the course of about 3 seconds, but that will depend on your accuracy and this weapon is highly difficult to use on a moving target. It makes an awesome sneak or VAT weapon, plus I think sneak damage bonuses apply.
The weapon has a constant red charging effect that lights up the ground – not intended but cool.
For ammo, it uses one whole fusion core for each firing.
One main difference is that there is no charging time on the assualtron head as I could not figure out how to do this in the creation kit yet – or perhaps the mechanist was a genius!
