This mod makes a few changes to perk requirements to craft specific pipe weapon mods.
Personally I found playing a stealth character early game was extremely limited to the bolt-action rifle with the suppressor bought from Drumlin Diner.
Pipe Revolvers also had an unnecessarily high perk requirement to craft some of their mods, making them even less appealing than they already are. (In the vanilla game, suppressors require rank 3 Gun Nut, by this point, you would have vastly better weapons.)
The intention is not to skew balance too much, but to allow more choice/customisation with early game weapons.
This may also make the survival difficulty experience a bit smoother in beginning for stealth based characters with earlier access to suppressors across all three variants of the pipe weaponry.
Changes:
- Suppressors for all three pipe weapon types (Standard, Bolt-action and Revolver) have been lowered to rank 1. Down from 2/2/3.
- Marksman Stock and Recoil Compensating Stock for Pipe Revolvers have been lowered to ranks 1 and 2 respectively. Down from 2 and 3.
- Muzzle Brake for Pipe Revolver has been lowered to rank 1. Down from 2.
