The goal of this mod is to make combat deadlier and the Commonwealth more immersive.
This mod combines some features from my other mods: Wasteland Strife, Irradiated Constitution, Every Shot Counts, and Overhaul.
Headshots do more damage to non-mechanical targets and many tougher creatures have reduced damage on other locations (thick shells/ hides/ ghouls anywhere but the head).
Human NPCs from many factions have had their maximum health reduced at higher levels (less end-game bullet-sponges).
Player health scales much more slowly and is more dependant on Endurance than player level. This results in slightly higher player health totals in the early game and vastly reduced totals at end game (compared to vanilla).
Player outgoing damage is raised and static across difficulties, but incoming damage scales up as difficulty increases. Everything dies faster.
Incoming radiation damage taken is now tripled. Additionally, max resistance has been lowered. You’ll even take a small amount of rads while in a fully leaded suit of PA, but the exception is the hazmat suit which still protects from virtually all radiation. Keep your Rad-X handy.
Reduces the frequency of ammo, Stimpaks, and Rad-X/ Away found on corpses and in containers. Vendors carry reduced ammo and meds, and often none.
XP rewards for killing enemies has been increased. XP rewards scale with difficulty setting. XP rewards from lockpicking, hacking, and cooking have all been removed.
The level requirements for Armorer, Gun Nut, and Science perks have all been increased - as well as for Blacksmith, but to a lesser extent. This is to increase the value to the player of looted/ found items with mods already installed. Most mods for Pipe weapons have had their perk requirements reduced/ removed in order to make pipe weapons a more attractive early-game option and to better reflect the scavenged nature of the weapons.
This will work with new or existing games, but player health totals on existing saves will not reflect the change until you level or alter Endurance.

The use of this mod makes several of my other mods obsolete and, as such, those should be turned off when using this mod.
I primarily made this package-mod for my own use and to reduce conflict/ overlap between my published ‘survival-style’ mods. If you are looking for only some of the features, try looking through my mods for a combination that works for you.
I appreciate the support of the Fallout4 community (especially the PS4 players, you rock) and welcome all feedback. That being said, this is my last “new” mod I will be making for this game.
Like a mod? Don’t like a mod? Rate it! Modders don’t have many sources of feedback and rating is a very quick and easy way to let them know if you like what they’re doing.
