Long before the War, the Government constructed a massive series of tunnels beneath the surface intended for agents to get from place to place underground, or in this case, be able to survive a nuclear holocaust. This came to be known simply as “The Network” and there is an entrance to it right here in Boston.
Unfortunately, the Network has seen better days: apparently the AGENCI who built it didn’t take into account 200 years of natural ware and tear. However, the Armory at the very end of this tunnel remains untouched, and there may be something that interests you…if you can get passed all of the mutated monsters and psycopathic robots that still haunt these halls.
This is a re-imagining of one of my first mods for FNV but in the Fallout 4 world. I’m trying to learn modding for F04 one step at a time but because the “Creation Kit” is so different from the GECK (especially when it comes to quests) I’m having to relearn everything and start at the bottom again.
There is a quest that should activate immediately, but for some reason it only activates once you start a new game. If someone can tell me how to fix this, I’d appreciate it. Other than that, the entrance to the Network can be found at the Water tower near the Red Rocket Gas station just outside of Sanctuary. The quest is pretty self explanatory without the need of quest markers anyway.
