Integrated Commonwealth By ANDREWCX
Integrated Commonwealth (IC) seeks to fully integrate content introduced in various DLC with the overall game world in a balanced, natural way.
FEATURES:
Some DLC specific plants can now be found (rarely) throughout the Commonwealth and in other DLC areas.
Some DLC enemies will now be found (rarely) throughout the Commonwealth and in other DLC areas.
Some DLC items, including weapons, ammunition, armor, and junk items now has a rare chance to be found throughout the game world on NPC’s and in containers etc. Scrounger perk ranks now aid in discovery of DLC ammunition (45-70, 7.62 & Harpoon) throughout the game world.
Some DLC specific food & drink items will now rarely appear in other areas. Nuka Cola machines will now have a (rare) chance to spawn pre-war Nuka Cola varieties added by the Nuka-World DLC (such as Victory and Wild). (Note that this is the same feature as my stand alone “Full-Flavored” mod - if you use IC you don’t need to use Full-Flavored at the same time)
Some DLC items are now available (rarely) from vendors throughout the game world.
Automatron random events now happen less frequently but will also occur in both Far Harbor and Nuka World.
Vault lockers now have a chance of containing vault specific jumpsuits in Vaults 75, 81, 95, 111, 114, and 118.
Non-Automatron robots (Standard versions of Protectrons, Mr Handy/Gutsy/Ms Nanny, Assaultrons, and Sentry Bots) now have a chance of dropping pre-war factory standard parts relevant to that model of robot once the initial Automatron quest has been started).
Standard Settlers can now rarely spawn with basic DLC clothing.
NOTES:
Weapons, Ammunition and Armor will only appear on level appropriate enemies so won’t be seen at lower levels.
In all cases IC adds a chance to find these items, they will still be comparatively rare outside their DLC areas.
Random encounters with DLC enemies will not start in the Commonwealth until the initial quest of Automatron has been completed.
Not all DLC items and creatures appear outside their ‘home’ area. Common weapons like Lever Action and Handmade rifles will appear throughout the game (depending on level and only rarely) however harpoon guns, thirst zappers and other weapons that are very specific to their DLC setting will not be found outside it (Harpoon ammunition will however). Similarly, some more common creatures like ants will appear throughout the gameworld while others like Anglers will not be found outside their home environment.
Radiant quest locations aren’t altered by IC so although you’ll now encounter Mechanist bots in both Far Harbor and Nuka World you will still only be sent to Commonwealth locations to do the Rogue Robot radiant quest.
INSTALLATION:
IC is best installed at the beginning of a playthrough however it can be installed at any time. If installed later in a playthrough some changes may take a while to be visible in-world, as they will require the area to refresh, while others may not appear at all (as some attributes are defined for areas the first time you enter them in a game for instance).
IC is a master file and will default to near the top of your load order. This is the correct position for it.
CONFLICTS:
IC modifies a significant number of level lists to allow DLC items to appear in world. Mods that overhaul factions or significant aspects of the game may block some of these changes.
