This mod allows you to deconvert purified water to three dirty water by mixing it with fertilizer at a cooking station. (That cooking station will never be clean again…)
The fertilizer is required to keep you from just converting purified water to dirty water and vice versa, gaining infinite XP in the process. It’s best to just not think about it.
