Here’s a little overhaul of Sanctuary. it’s a partially build settlement with a lot of room for customization.
I gave it a bit of backstory (found on a letter in a house) to make it feel more lore friendly.
This is for you if :
- you want to do another playthrough without spending hundreds of hours building settlements
- you like to decorate settlement better than building them
- you’ve always wanted a tree house without having to build stairs!
- you’ve always wanted to build a house inside a plane
Contents :
- complete wall
- working custom main gate and emergency/back exit
- a few guard towers (usable by settlers)
- a tree house with a functioning power lift
- a few other buildings
- a few spots left free inside the wall to build your own stuff
- everything can be removed (except the main gate and the emergency gate). To do so, look for the hazardous material signs. They are located a little out of sight on every buildings. storing/destroying them in workshop mode will remove most of the building they’re attached to. only workshop items will stay and they can be scrapped in workshop mode.
known issues :
- the power lift may not work if you load a save where you are already at sanctuary when loading this mod. it has to do with cell reset/refresh.
- the frame rate will probably be bellow 60 fps but shouldn’t drop too much. it may be worst if you have a massive settlement in red rocket. but from my test on an average pc it’s totally playable. You can always scrap part of it if it becomes a problem.
Compatibility and load order :
- i’m still new to this so i’m not sure. this mod is using only vanilla items so there shouldn’t be many problems.
