ALL DLCs ARE REQUIRED!!!
This mod will add a magazine called Prospector Handbook! Once you locate it and add it to your inventory you will be able to salvage components like plastic, steel, wood, rubber etc. from numerous different objects throughout the entire Commonwealth without the dependence of any workshop.
By default, everything is turned off !!! So once you locate the magazine and add it to your inventory be sure to then open the settings holotape (added automatically after obtaining book, or can be created in ChemStation section Utility) and select the objects you would like to salvage. The holotape is located under the misc tab in the pipboy.
The Settings Holotape ([Settings] Kor_Scavenger) allows you to enable or disable object from being able to scavenge. Also some objects also can be set to be Destroyed (removed completely from game) or Preserved (object remains in game). Armors and weapons will be always destroyed (removed). Please be advised that these setting are a bit extensive so go through each and carefully select how you want to configured each object or category. I just also want to point out that certain objects, if destroyed (removed), could potentially cause issues with a quest or a perk or even maybe another mod. So if you have any doubts or concerns about whether or not to destroy (remove) an object then you should probably elect to preserve the object just to be safe. Once you destroy (remove) an object then it is gone. The only way to get it back is to revert to a save prior to when you destroyed the object.
HOTKEY activator - can quickly and easily enable/disable the mod. It is located under Inventory/Aid. Note: after initial activation of the mod the activator will most likely be set to off so please check (use holotape and look at status on first screen) and if necessary turn on to make the mod functions active.
Notifications about getting components was removed, and replaced with the announcement of a successful salvation. This was because when a player salvaged multiple objects in quick succession (typically cars) the game had issues of showing notifications of the acquired components.
